Interaction-Constituted-Status Result
Canonical definition
The result that an artificial Proxy carries no exogenous, population-shared status markers; whatever status the Individual assigns to the artificial Proxy is constituted entirely within the interaction, read off the response itself rather than off an exogenous social position, and is idiosyncratic to that Individual rather than shared across a population. The principal channel by which human social proof raises Coupling Strength (prestige read exogenously and shared across a population) therefore does not operate on an artificial Proxy. This is the structural reason an artificial Proxy can be a low-coupling interlocutor in a way a prestigious human cannot: a human expert imports a population-shared prestige weighting that biases the Individual's update before any evidence is examined, while an artificial Proxy imports no such weighting. The result identifies the second condition of the Decoupling Interface. The condition fails only if an interface deliberately manufactures an exogenous status position for the artificial Proxy, which reintroduces the prestige channel artificially.
Explanation
An artificial Proxy has no standing in a social hierarchy the Individual can look up. Any authority the Individual grants flows from what the artificial Proxy actually says, not from who it is. A high-status human carries social proof before they open their mouth; an artificial Proxy does not. This structural difference is the reason the artificial Proxy can be a lower-coupling source in that role.
