Micro-Extraction Event

Canonical definition

A Micro-Extraction Event is a single dyadic interaction between Individuals of unequal Status in which net Mimetic Premium flows from the lower-Status party to the higher-Status party, through one or more of the four modalities the Unidirectional PM Flow Principle identifies: attention transfer, deference concession, narrative authority yield and positional concession. Each event is individually trivial. Taken together, the events are: - ubiquitous, because every unequal-Status interaction carries one; - unidirectional, because the flow always runs upward; - cumulative, because each compounds into the next; - invisible, because neither party tracks the running total; - Buffer-Converting, because each draws on the A-I Buffer rather than on existing Mimetic Premium.

Explanation

One moment of extra attention to the more important person in the room, one deferral, one occasion of taking their version of events: each is too small to notice, and none is noticed. They happen in every unequal encounter, always in the same direction, and they add up.
