AIM Framework glossary
Parasitism (Architectural Sense)
Canonical definition
Parasitism (Architectural Sense) is PM extraction that operates on an Individual's access to Appetitive and Intrinsic provision without contributing to that provision: the extractor positions as a toll-gate on A-I access rather than as a co-producer of the goods sought. Chapter 19 treats interest on surplus capital as the paradigm instance: the lender extracts PM while the borrower's pursuit remains shelter, education, tools, or care.
Explanation
It is not name-calling. It names a structural pattern: taking mimetic premium for access to things people need for life and competence, without putting in the work or materials that create those things.
Epistemic status
