AIM Framework glossary

Reflexive Non-Ideology Principle

Canonical definition

The Reflexive Non-Ideology Principle holds that if the AIM Framework ever functions as an ideology, it must be one that dismantles its own Mimetic privileges and refuses to weaponise scarcity or belonging. Access to Appetitive essentials and Intrinsic opportunities must never depend on professing the AIM Framework, and fluency in it cannot become a prestige badge.

Explanation

An account of how Status capture works is an unusually good vehicle for Status capture. The vocabulary is technical, the analysis flatters whoever can perform it, and the people best placed to acquire it are already the better-resourced party — every condition the framework itself identifies as producing a Mimetic Premium. The Reflexive Non-Ideology Principle is the framework applied to itself, and it is stated as a constraint rather than a hope: the moment access to a necessity or an opportunity turns on professing the account, the account has become the thing it describes.

Epistemic status

Normative Principle. Self-application of the framework's own results.

Derivation
