Fast-Layer Axiom Restatements (M1 through M5b)

Canonical definition

Six derivative restatements of the canonical axioms, introduced in Appendix A, Section A.2, to specify the fast valuation layer of the three-layer formalism in the way B1 through B3 specify the slow layer and N1 through N3 the network layer. M1 Behavioural Taxonomy Primary; Neural Mechanism Secondary (from Axiom 1): the three sources are distinguished first by their observable behavioural signatures. M2 Fast Perceptual-to-Goal Coupling (from Axiom 7): a fast mapping from observed Model behaviour to the internal mimetic signal M(t)M(t), operating on subsecond timescales and preceding conscious access. M3 Common-Currency Integration (from Axiom 2): the Decision Hub computes V(t)=wAA(t)+wII(t)+wMM(t)V(t) = wA A(t) + wI I(t) + w_M M(t). M4 Status Feedback (from Axiom 5): realised valuation modulates environmental Salience S(t)S(t), which feeds back into the mimetic input channel. M5a Source Opacity as Information-Theoretic Entailment of Integration (from Axioms 2 and 3): the integration discards source tags, by the Data Processing Inequality. M5b Differential Satiation (from Axiom 6): the three contributions have distinct satiation dynamics, and the M-contribution carries no self-terminating term.

Explanation

These six restatements are not new axioms. They put the existing axioms into the form the fast layer of the formal model needs: how the three sources are told apart, how watching someone else want something starts wanting in the watcher, how the three signals combine into one value, how a realised choice feeds back into what the surroundings mark as valuable, why the combination hides where the value came from, and why only the copied component never switches itself off.
