Meta-Architectural Exclusion

Canonical definition

**Meta-Architectural Exclusion is the absence from civilisation's epistemic repertoire of the Hypothesis-type "a structural feature of cognition might systematically prevent its own discovery", the possibility that the architecture could be self-concealing sits outside the available Hypothesis Space. Layer 8 of the Camouflage Architecture. *Framework-Specific Construct. Identified in Chapter 8.***

Explanation

Layers 1–7 of the Camouflage Architecture each block a specific detection pathway for M. Meta-Architectural Exclusion operates at a higher order: it blocks the formulation of the question that would explain why all seven lower layers went undetected. The Hypothesis "there exists an architectural feature of human motivation that structurally prevents its own identification" requires a concept, self-concealing architecture, that civilisation did not possess. Existing epistemology addresses observer bias, theory-ladenness, and cognitive limitation, but none of these frameworks contemplate that the object of study (human motivation) might contain a structural feature whose primary consequence is rendering itself invisible to the cognitive systems attempting to study it. The Vocabulary Gap (Layer 7) prevents formulation of the M-Hypothesis; Meta-Architectural Exclusion prevents formulation of the Hypothesis that would explain why the M-Hypothesis was never formulated. This recursive structure means the Camouflage Architecture could not be identified from within any single layer, only the conjunction of all eight layers' simultaneous penetration reveals the full structure. See Camouflage Architecture, Vocabulary Gap (Hilbert Collapse), Source Opacity Theorem.
