AIM Framework glossary

Zero-I Object Parasitism

Canonical definition

Zero-I Object Parasitism is the condition in which content is produced with no Intrinsic substrate whatsoever, no genuine process-engagement, documentary interest, moral evaluation, or craft satisfaction from any human in the production chain, such that the Object exists solely as a vehicle for Mimetic Premium accumulation through alarm activation felt as bodily threat. AI-generated rage bait is the paradigm case: content produced by a system with no process-engagement, depicting scenarios that never occurred, carrying no informational content, serving no I-enabling function, and existing solely to extract PM from audience engagement.

Explanation

Normally, even the most status-driven content has some genuine substance underneath, a real photograph, a real opinion, a real event. Zero-I Object Parasitism is what happens when even that minimal substrate disappears. AI-generated rage bait is pure extraction infrastructure: no human created anything, no real event is depicted, no genuine interest is served. The only function is to trigger your alarm circuits and harvest your engagement as PM for the poster.

Epistemic status

Framework-Specific Construct. Derived from Object Parasitism (Axiom 5) and the analysis of AI-generated content.
