Accumulated Mimetic Debt

Canonical definition

Accumulated Mimetic Debt is the total of suppressed mimetic competition, uncorrected Confabulations, institutional competence decay, A-floor contingency, and I-domain destruction that builds under Forced Quiescence. Every error that would have been corrected under Subcriticality instead compounds; every mimetic dynamic that would have been absorbed by institutional friction instead builds pressure. The debt is payable upon the incumbent's removal, when all suppressed channels decohere simultaneously.

Explanation

All the hidden problems, rivalries, lies, incompetence, fragile supply chains, and lost creativity, that pile up while a dictator keeps a lid on everything. When the dictator goes, all these stored-up problems explode at the same time. The longer and more completely everything was suppressed, the bigger the explosion.

Epistemic status

Theoretical Construct (Latent Variable).
