Collaborator Subtype

Canonical definition

The Collaborator coordinate of the Agent-Type Vector takes one of three subtypes, set by the evidence the classifier reads alongside evidence of reciprocity, and each subtype fixes which of the three channels carries weight in the valuation of the Individual-Object. The mating-pair subtype is the Collaborator reading under reproductive cues and engages the Body Manager's sexual deficit term. The parent-child subtype is the Collaborator reading under dependency, where the Individual-Object's Appetitive deficits are ones the observer can repair and the Individual-Object cannot, and it carries an Appetitive flow in one direction, from the capable party to the dependent one, which reverses over the life course. The among-equals subtype is the Collaborator reading under reciprocity between Individuals of comparable capacity, with neither reproductive cue nor dependency. The subtypes are readings of one vector rather than separate modules: one Individual-Object can carry more than one, and can move between them as the evidence changes.

Explanation

When your brain files someone as a person to cooperate with, it also files what kind of cooperation: a possible mate, someone who depends on you (or on whom you depend), or an equal. Those three filings are what romantic partnership, family and friendship are built on. They are not separate systems. Your partner can also be your friend, and the parent who once looked after you can come to depend on you.

Epistemic status

Framework-Specific Construct. Refinement of the Collaborator coordinate of the Agent-Type Vector (Axiom 9). Not an additional axiom.
