Coupling-Decoherence Content Qualification Gate
Canonical definition
The general informational architecture principle whereby content qualifies for ambient broadcast (push channels) if and only if its subject matter is not a coupled Belief system (κ is low) or its claims decohere rapidly against observable reality (τ is short), such that content whose subject matter is a coupled Belief system (high-coupling-strength) with extended insulation from reality-testing (long-decoherence-time) is restricted to query-driven access (pull channels), disrupting the Information-Cascade Amplification Effect at its source by preventing high-coupling-strength, long-decoherence-time content from entering population-level evidence streams where the Ambient Evidence Amplification Effect operates regardless of Individual intent.
Explanation
The Coupling-Decoherence Gate is the general principle behind Blind Pricing. Blind Pricing removes price information from ambient broadcast because prices in most markets are outputs of coupled Belief systems (high-coupling-strength) with extended decoherence times (long-decoherence-time). (This regime is a tracked state, not a permanent property: on the tracked-state and Referent-attachment treatment of this regime, see Sections 14.8.1 and 14.9.3.) The κ-τ Gate extends this to all ambient information: any content reporting on a coupled Belief system with long-decoherence-time is moved from push to pull. The content is not suppressed but reclassified by delivery mode. Individuals who actively seek high-coupling-strength, long-decoherence-time information for genuine A-I purposes (a homebuyer checking property values, an investor assessing financial markets) can access it through query-driven channels. What is eliminated is the ambient injection of this content into evidence streams where it serves no A-I function and operates exclusively as Preconscious Transmission, accelerating Confabulation Cascade convergence toward Pc.
