Delivery-Pathway Intervention

Canonical definition

Delivery-Pathway Intervention is an intervention whose architectural role is to install the diagnostic competence through which other interventions become administrable, rather than itself substantively altering the system's dynamics. The Knowledge Patch is the framework's canonical Delivery-Pathway Intervention: it is formally a Class 2 Intervention on β, but its distinct architectural role is the installation of diagnostic competence (the capacity to recognise mimetic dynamics as mimetic and to formulate threshold questions about G, mobs, γ, and κS), without which Class 1 and the remaining Class 2 interventions appear as arbitrary impositions rather than as responses to identifiable architectural conditions. See Appendix A.6.4 and Chapter 15.

Explanation

A Delivery-Pathway Intervention is like an intravenous line. It cures nothing on its own, but it opens the route through which medicines can be delivered to the patient. The Knowledge Patch is the framework's IV line: it does not by itself fix mimetic dynamics, but without it the other interventions (visibility suppression, Observability governance, Salience engineering) cannot reach populations in a form the populations can receive, because Source Opacity and Confabulation keep the architectural rationale for those interventions invisible. The Patch installs the visibility. The other interventions then deliver the treatment.

Epistemic status
