I-Supremacy Result

Canonical definition

The derived consequence that, under the Channel-Count Asymmetry, the Thinker (I) exerts disproportionate influence over the integrated value V, because it controls two of the three channels of direct input to the Decision Hub (its own ground-resolution input and the Thinker-conditioned Observer channel), against the Body Manager’s single independent channel. The result is derived from the control asymmetry, not posited as a weighting. The fast-layer formalisation is at Appendix A.5.9.

Explanation

Because the reasoning self effectively holds two of the three votes that decide what we do, its view tends to win. This is not because anyone designed it to win, but because the third voter (social comparison) is just echoing the reasoning self, so the reasoning self is really voting twice.

Epistemic status

Framework-Specific Construct.

Derivation

Chapter 4, Section 4.4.12; Appendix A, Section A.5.9.
