Claimed Self-Defence

Canonical definition

Claimed Self-Defence is an act directed at another, selected on approach and carried out on the slow timescale, whose account names Self-Defence. It carries the markings of rivalry and issues in conduct symmetric between the parties. The Ethical claim it rests on may be true, and once violence is reciprocal the claims are true in both directions.

Explanation

Claimed self-defence is planned action against someone, justified as self-defence. The harm complained of may be real, but the act is aimed at the other party rather than at getting away. The other side makes the same claim, and once both sides are hurting each other, both claims are true.
