Endogenous Runaway Coupling
Canonical definition
Endogenous Runaway Coupling is the supercritical κ band in which ρ(Koff) ≥ κc, such that Gtotal ≥ Gcrit^total and the network's own Evidence dynamics compel certainty-without-Truth convergence regardless of Referent Truth. This is the κ-side mirror of the Aesthetic regime's unbounded endogenous drift, but in truth-apt domains it produces fold collapse rather than drift: the Belief was about something real, yet the Evidence base became too endogenous for self-correction.
Explanation
The Belief now feeds mainly on itself, social proof, cascades, status, price watching price. At this level, better arguments from inside the loop do not help; the architecture prevents it. Correction requires breaking coupling — weakening the Evidence coupling between Individuals, weakening the Observability coupling, or shortening Decoherence Time — forced visibility, or waiting for a decoherence shock large enough to trigger the fold. This is the runaway the Subcriticality Maintenance Principle is designed to prevent.
