Grinding Interface

Canonical definition

A Grinding Interface is a social domain in which two or more Decision Hubs must interoperate but in which the interface geometry (rules, visibility, scarcity, Coupling Strength, Decoherence Time) is such that divergent Self-Models reliably produce friction rather than meshing.

Explanation

A Grinding Interface is any setting (contract, neighbourhood, market, institution) whose design reliably turns normal human differences into fights, because the way the setting is built forces people into collision instead of letting them pass one another cleanly.

Epistemic status

Framework-Specific Construct.
