Installation Carrier Neutrality
Canonical definition
Installation Carrier Neutrality is the derived result that the opening of the Minimum Installation Condition gate is invariant under the physical carrier and the sensory format in which the observation event reaches the Observer, because the gate is keyed to a decoded informational property (perception of another Individual exhibiting directional valence toward an Object) and not to the medium that conveys it. The carrier (the physical channel by which the event is transmitted, photons, pressure waves, electromagnetic signal, or any other) and the sensory format (the uncompressed visual, auditory, or other modality-specific configuration in which the event is presented) are both incidental to installation, provided the Observer's distinctive input stream resolves a valenced, goal-directed observation event. Installation Carrier Neutrality is a corollary of the Perceptual Primacy of the Observer, because the perception channel never had access to carrier-bound raw data but only to parsed, action-relevant events, carrier and format are incidental across the entire field, and the auditory command and the visual reach are architecturally identical inputs. It is also the input-side counterpart of Source Opacity, source-identity is irreversibly destroyed at and downstream of integration (proved via the Data Processing Inequality), whereas carrier-identity and format are immaterial upstream of the Decision Hub at the point the M-channel installs, the two results constituting the entry and exit information-theoretic boundaries of the M-channel. The result is not an additional axiom, it follows from the Observer specification and the Minimum Installation Condition, and it operates at the Disaggregation Primitive reading-surface level.
Explanation
The thing that switches on mimetic installation is the fact that you have observed a Model wanting or avoiding something. It does not matter how that fact reached you, seen, heard, read, or picked up any other way, because what the system reacts to is the decoded fact of the Model's directional wanting, not the packaging it arrived in. This follows directly from the Observer being a general perception system, it never had raw, format-bound data to begin with, only already-decoded events, so the form was never what mattered. Someone shouting "Run" and someone seen sprinting from danger deliver the same decoded event through different carriers. This is also the front-door twin of Source Opacity. Source Opacity says that once the signals are combined you can no longer tell which source a feeling came from. Installation Carrier Neutrality says that, on the way in, it never mattered what form the observation took. One guards the exit, the other guards the entrance.
